Yes, Lion + Lamb is still open for business.
As we are an online business, we are currently operating as normal in terms of fulfilling your orders and shipping them as quickly as possible. Although we are working hard to minimise the impact of this crisis on our customers there is a possibility that we will encounter delays or disruptions.
Tracking Your Parcel
For deliveries nationwide, excluding NSW, most parcels will go directly to Australia Posts state-based sorting facilities. Your parcel may not have any tracking updates until Australia Post sorts your parcel in your state but if you have been sent a tracking number by us then you can be confident that your parcel is on the way, even if there aren’t immediate tracking updates from Australia Post. Please note that Australia Post have advised to allow more time than normal to see updates on the progress of your delivery.
Australia Post Delivery Delays
Australia Post have advised a general delay in parcel delivery due to the impact of reduced flights, social distancing procedures and increased online shopping. They are working continuously to maintain delivery and apologise for any inconvenience.
We are currently aware of parcel-sorting delays at Australia Post facilities in Victoria and South Australia.
Supply Chain Delays
The situation in other countries and around Australia regarding freight transport for our suppliers, access to flights and lock-downs means that there are some disruptions in stock availability. Should we encounter any difficulties, we will communicate to you as soon as we are able, in a clear and transparent way what those issues are and how we are going to mitigate them.
Change to Signature on Delivery
In order to minimise risks Australia Post has advised that all parcels will no longer require a signature for delivery and/or collection. Parcels will be left with Authority to Leave with a photo, where safe to do so. Please consider selecting Parcel Locker if needed.
How we’re responding to COVID-19
Lion + Lamb is doing its best to safeguard the health and well-being of its employees as well as continue to provide service to its customers within the government-mandated public health orders that are continually being issued and assessed.
We recommend that if you are concerned about goods you receive from Lion + Lamb and any other source through shopping, handling and delivery, you enforce the same government and WHO-mandated hygiene practices that you apply to everything you touch so as not to introduce unwanted germs into your body. That is, wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, use hand sanitiser (if you can get any!) before touching your face or eating food with your hands and you can wipe down items and surfaces you purchase, receive or are in contact with.
